Bravado Study is operated by BRAVADO STUDY LTD, company number 17100777. Our company and contact details are on the support page. The service helps you study from your own material and course outlines you have reviewed. It is independent of exam boards and educational institutions and does not provide official papers, official marking or guaranteed grades.

Using Bravado

Bravado is for learners aged 16 or over. Keep your login private, use the service for legitimate study, and upload only material you own or have permission to use. Do not use the tutor to cheat in a live or assessed examination. Features may be unavailable during maintenance or when a usage limit is reached.

AI answers, syllabuses and marks

AI can misunderstand a source, miss a marking point or make an error. Check cited notes, official course documents and your teacher’s guidance. A source-grounded answer uses relevant excerpts from your uploaded material; a citation does not guarantee that the answer is correct or complete. An AI-discovered syllabus is a summary for you to review, not proof of current or complete coverage. Syllabus-guided practice may use subject knowledge within that outline. Practice questions, marking guides and scores are study aids, not official assessments or predictions of your grade.

Free access and allowances

Free allows one course and three saved sources, with no payment card required. Pro allows up to ten courses and 100 saved sources, including during a trial. Both use a shared rolling 30-day AI allowance, shown as a percentage in your account, as well as daily request caps. Longer requests, checked practice papers and searches use more allowance, so the daily caps are not guaranteed quantities of completed work.

See the current limits. Shared service capacity can pause AI before your personal allowance runs out. Failed or interrupted requests can count toward attempt limits and may hold some allowance when usage is uncertain. Saved material remains available when AI is paused. Reaching an allowance does not trigger an automatic extra charge.

Pro: £9.99 per month

Eligible accounts can start a seven-day Pro trial for £0 today. A payment card is required. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your first £9.99 payment is taken at the end of the trial and Pro renews automatically at £9.99 each month until you cancel. If your account is not eligible for a trial, your first payment is taken when you subscribe. The payment screen shows any trial, the first payment date, price and recurring terms before you confirm.

You can stop renewal at any time in Settings → Manage billing, or by contacting support. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge; Pro then continues until the trial ends and your account returns to Free. Outside the initial refund period below, a paid subscription continues until the end of your paid period, then your account returns to Free. Cancelling renewal does not delete your saved work. A failed or expired payment can also return an account to Free limits.

Your first payment: 14-day refund

If you cancel within 14 days after your first actual Pro payment, we will refund that first payment in full, even if you have used Pro. The refund period starts when that payment is taken, not when a free trial starts. You do not need to give a reason. This initial refund period does not restart with each monthly renewal.

You can cancel through Manage billing or send a clear cancellation message to bewareofthestagnantriver@gmail.com. Manage billing stops renewal immediately; the refund is handled separately by our support team. You can email us to make sure your initial refund is picked up. We will refund to the original payment method without undue delay and within 14 days after you tell us you are cancelling. When we process an initial-period cancellation and refund, Pro ends and your Free account remains available.

You may use this message, but any clear statement is accepted: “To BRAVADO STUDY LTD: I cancel my Bravado Study Pro subscription. My account email is __. My first payment was on __. My name is __. Today’s date is __.” You can also write to the registered office on our support page; include your address and a signature if sending a paper cancellation.

After the first-payment refund period, cancelling renewal does not normally refund the current paid month. Your statutory consumer rights still apply, including rights where a service is faulty or does not match its description. Contact support if something has gone wrong.

Uploads, exports and deletion

You can upload a text-based PDF, TXT or Markdown file up to 2 MB. PDFs must have no more than 60 pages and extracted text must fit within 100,000 characters. Scanned or protected PDFs may not be readable. The app saves extracted text rather than the original file.

Deleting a source also removes generated card sets, practice exams and answer guides in its course to avoid broken citations. Export anything you need first. Self-service account deletion is available after a subscription has ended. You can still contact us with a privacy request before then.
