Study limits and AI allowance
Both plans have daily request caps and one shared AI allowance. The caps below are maximum requests, not guaranteed quantities of completed work. A request also needs enough remaining allowance and service capacity.

Studio papers share the practice-paper cap; studio answer guides share the tutor cap. Across both studio modes, each account can make up to 20 generation attempts per UTC day, and the whole service shares 40 attempts. Failed attempts count. Syllabus discovery has a separate cap of three new searches per account and 20 across the service per UTC day; matching saved results can be reused for seven days.
One shared AI allowance
All AI study features draw from one rolling 30-day allowance. Your account shows the remaining percentage. Pro has a larger allowance than Free. Usage leaves the window after 30 days, gradually restoring capacity.
Longer answers, checked practice papers and web searches use different amounts, so the allowance is not a fixed number of messages or credits. An interrupted request may still use or hold some allowance when usage cannot be confirmed. A request pauses if there is not enough remaining allowance to start it.
Shared service capacity
Daily capacity is also shared across the service, including the studio and syllabus limits above. AI can pause even while your personal allowance remains. Saved study material stays accessible, and reaching a limit does not trigger an automatic extra charge.
